Here’s Pantera’s “Walk” Video–Because It’s A Nice Saturday, but Dimebag Darrell’s Still Dead

Not many people at the office this Saturday, so the COED Jukebox is cranking out our advance copy of the 20th Anniversary Edition of Pantera’s Vulgar Display of Power–which has a second disc with video of an amazing 1992 live show in Italy. Those shows were around the time that Darrell Abbott went from being “Diamond Darrell” to “Dimebag Darrell.” Now it’s time for a new generation of rockers to discover the late (and great) guitarist. Actually, it already sounds like he’s influenced the last 20 metal bands that we heard. Just listen to Dimebag grind it out on the classic “Walk.” A lot of kids are probably ready to buy the remastered Power on this coming Tuesday. That’s why we believe that children are the future.
