Sidney Crosby has become the subject of abuse by literally fans of any hockey team other than the Penguins. His cocky, yet boyishly annoying attitude leaves a sour taste in hockey fans mouths all season long. We are here to tell you that the good folks at Nodding Head Brewery in Philadelphia have something to get that taste out of your mouth. Read on to see what we mean!
Nodding Head Brewery has been known for it’s unique variety of craft beers and boy have they outdone themselves with their latest lager. This beer, aptly named Crosby Tears, was created in the image of its namesake, Sidney Crosby himself. They describe it as follows:
STRONG ALE (8.7%ABV)…WHINE-LIKE IN “HONOR” OF ITS NAMESAKE…ORANGE HUED LIKE THE TEAM THAT SENT HIM HOME FOR THE SUMMER…THE PERFECT COMPLEMENT TO A PLAYOFF RUN
I can’t think of a better way to rub it in Crosby’s face that their hometown Flyers sent him and the Penguins packing for the summer. I’m not even a Flyer’s fan but I think this is awesome and if I make the (unlikely) trek to Philly anytime this summer, I’m definitely going to try and get my hands on some Crosby Tears.
