Real Life Ron Swanson is as Cool as the Character [VIDEO]

With the NBC hit Parks and Recreation on hiatus until April 19, we decided to get you your Ron Swanson fix in today’s morning video. For those of you that don’t know, Nick Offerman (the actor who plays Ron Swanson) actually has a ton in common with his character. The biggest similarity between the two is that they both share a love of wood carving. I first discovered this fact while listening to the podcast WTF With Marc Maron and immediately gained more respect for Offerman. The dude practices what he preaches with one of the coolest characters on television today. This video gives you an exclusive behind the scenes look at Offerman’s real life workshop, and although slightly less exclusive than Ron Swanson’s at home work shop, this is still pretty sweet.
