Our Miss COED of the Year 2011 Is…

Back in early January, we presented you with our 12 Miss COED of the Year finalists – Heather O, Dylan Fitzpatrick, Corissa Furr, Elizabeth Marxs, Leanna Decker, Ysania Agurcia, Lara Leverence, Heather Jo Hughes, Kari Nautique, Ashley Salazar, Stephanie Turtur, and Alysha Nett. Campaigning was intense as thousands of votes were cast. The race was extremely close with 1-2% points separating the winner from THE NEXT THREE CANDIDATES. So, who took home the crown? Well…

The winner sent us some love back in late July, which prompted us to place her on our list of Emerging Hotties for 2012. For 6 years she served in the Air Force. She’s a photographer, event marketing specialist, technologist, and amateur mixed martial artist / ring girl. She also founded a talent agency and has been a finalist for Playboy’s Miss Social a bunch of times.

Without further ado, we present you with our Miss COED of the Year 2011…

Congrats, Ashley! You earned it!

And now a couple words from our winner…

“Each and every voter in my campaign was instrumental to winning this amazing title. I’ve met many new amazing people in my journey this past year whom I feel blessed to have met. Network like you breathe air! I thank my fans, promo team and supporters a lot, without them I couldn’t have had any of these opportunities that COED has given me or have won the title! Firework!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! =D ” – Miss Coed 2011, Ashley Salazar

Ashley’s plans for 2012 are to pursue her acting career projects, direct more music videos as an artist, see her site relaunch, have another MMA fight, continue more modeling goals to be in more magazine publications, and launch her new article for COED entitled “Ambassador of Beauty” in which she will feature beautiful models from outside the U.S.A. and take readers into that model’s home country for the ultimate travel guide experience!
