College Football 2011 Week 9 Preview: Cheerleader Edition

So, if it weren’t for a pair of close losses, we would’ve gone 8-1, but thanks to Rutgers’ kicker and South Florida falling short, we ended up 6-3. We called the ‘Canes “upset” over Georgia Tech, and a last second hail mary toss fulfilled our prediction that the Spartans would stick it to the Beavers. So, what are the games to watch this week? SATURDAY, OCTOBER 29th, 2011

No. 11 Michigan State at No. 14 Nebraska

Time: 12 PM ET

Channel: ESPN

COED PREDICTION: The SPARTANS will carry their momentum into Lincoln and win with a score that makes the game appear closer than it was.

No. 22 Georgia vs. Florida

Time: 3:30pm ET

COED PREDICTION: The DAWGS should chomp the future boots.

Illinois at No. 19 Penn State

Time: 3:30 pm ET

Channel: ABC

COED PREDICTION: I’m itching to call this the Upset of the Week, but I can’t see Linebacker U losing at home. NITTANY LIONS by a head dress.

No. 13 South Carolina at Tennessee

Time: 7:15 PM ET

Channel: ESPN 2

COED PREDICTION: This looks like one of them trap games, but the GAMECOCKS should overcome and prevail.

No. 6 Stanford at USC

Time: 8 PM ET

Channel: ABC

COED PREDICTION: Another potential upset special, but as Luck would have it the CARDINAL have a top draft pick under center. You guys sick of the Luck puns yet?

No. 5 Clemson at Georgia Tech

Time: 8 PM ET

Channel: ABC

COED PREDICTION: Cue Admiral Akbar! “It’s a trap!” However, the TIGERS should take advantage of a demoralized Yellow Jacket team.

No. 15 Wisconsin at Ohio State

Time: 8 PM ET

Channel: ESPN

COED PREDICTION: This was one of our most anticipated games of the season. We still think it’ll be a pretty good battle but the BADGERS will be out for blood after last week’s last second demise.
