On June 22nd, Steve Nash had his annual Showdown in Chinatown soccer match at the Sarah D. Roosevelt Park in NYC. Thanks to my friend Devin, who works at VitaminWater, we scored front row seats. The match brought out top athletes like Nash, Grant Hill, and Tony Parker together for a pick-up game of soccer in front of thousands of fans. In the end Team Nash won 16-10 and New Jersey’s own Giuseppe Rossi was crowned the Player of the Game. Check out the rosters and all the pics from the action below.
