Simon Cowell‘s broader, more inclusive version of American Idol, “The X Factor” is scheduled to premiere in September on FOX. Yesterday, several media outlets reported that British X-Factor judge Cheryl Cole would be hosting the show, however, it’s been confirmed that she will act as judge alongside former AI panel member Paula Abdul and producer LA Reid.
