Irina Shayk Is The 2011 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue Cover Model! [60 Photos]

David Letterman just announced Irina Shayk is the 2011 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue cover model during a taping of tonight’s episode of the Late Show. As you may know, we at COED have been eagerly awaiting the announcement of the 2011 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue cover model. We had a feeling it would be Irina when we posted a video of her providing our users with tips on how to have a sexy Valentine’s Day. Then Steve got to meet her before the taping and he could tell there was a look of pride in her eyes when they snapped off some pics before heading in. We also caught a couple of the first ever pictures of the billboard featuring Irina’s cover. Check it out in the gallery!

The 25-year-old Russian model first appeared in the magazine in 2007. She was also voted most likely to be on the cover by COED readers with 46% of the total votes!

Congratulations, Irina – we’ll be ogling your pictures for months to come. (Not that we haven’t already…)
