This is a phenomenal remake of a classic song that was originally recorded in 1959 by Phil Phillips. The Honeydrippers, one of Robert Plant’s side projects remade this song in the 80’s but this version I love the best. It’s honest and beautiful and a great love song.

Great groove. Sexy song. Janet at her finest.

“This Year’s Love” by David Gray

Is there a prettier song than this? C’mon mannnnnn. Nope. Another one to make her tear up. This song gets ‘em every time. It’s near perfect.

This is like the quintessential song that you’ll hear in a romantic movie. It’s just a classic.

“I’m Still in Love with You” by Al Green

The preacher! The pimp! The love crooner! The man. The reverend Al works wonders with this R&B love classic. Timeless song for a timeless day.

“Make You Feel My Love” by Adele

It’s very easy to get lost in her voice. Close your eyes and just listen to this song. It’s scary how beautiful it really is.

Classic Stevie. The words in this song are a love letter. “As around the sun the earth knows she’s revolving, And the rosebuds know to bloom in early May, Just as hate knows love’s the cure, You can rest your mind assure, That I’ll be loving you always. I mean dude can write. This is probably my favorite Stevie Wonder song as well.

“Lover Lay Down” by Dave Matthews Band

Another perfect song for candle lights and long walks on the beach. Dave always gets it right with the ladies. This song is no exception. LeRoi Moore’s sax is musical heaven on this tune. One of Dave’s more romantic and memorable songs for sure.
