Beer does not mix, except with other beer. Period. Beer does not need to be combined, it is perfection by itself.
i really tried a lot of american beers every time i'm in the us and best thing to do with it to mix it as long as you can't taste any more of the beer.
but nobody would like to mix real beer with anything like stated above.
I agree with Serge – disguise the taste of most american beers, it would be an improvement. Most US beers are tasteless gassy crap.
It would be blasphemy to mix british or most continental european beers though.
cool
Anyone who trashes American beers is an idiot. With the unbelievable selections of microbrewery beers available across the country, are we still hearing whiners that think Budweiser is a typical American beer. Go to a real beer store… go to beeradvocate.com to find out about beers and festivals near you… My favorite whiners are the "euro lover" comments. Hey boys… ever hear of a Shandy? Its a lager mixed with lemonade and has been served in Britain for about..oh 100 years. So yea… those crazy Americans! While not into most of these, I can verify that a shot of flavored vodka (pick one) in your tall pint of Franziskanner Hefe or Stone IPA, will definitely get you there quicker.
The Logarita:
1-1.5 oz Bacardi Limon (preferably chilled)
1 bottle Corona
Drink out the neck of the Corona, and pour in the Bacardi, filling it back up. Put your thumb on the top, turn upside down to mix. Enjoy.
Did the writer just make half of these up? Most of them look completely repulsive.
I think you've got the wrong name for Ruddy Mary.
It's supposed to be Red Eye if you substitute the liquor for beer.
Looking at the Ruddy Mary…. its not generally a good idea to shake carbonated drinks…
The Baltimore Zoo sounds good to me!
Baltimore Zoo was created by a bar named Wabash Yacht Club at Purdue…not some random student. The recipe is not even correct!
